FidesBeacon on Claude

Browse the catalog, get a quote, and register interest — from inside Claude Cowork.

What this is

FidesBeacon is callable from Claude Cowork (and any other Model Context Protocol–aware client) via a public MCP connector. The connector exposes a small set of tools that let a lawyer interact with FidesBeacon without leaving their AI workflow: browse the 45-deliverable catalog, generate a validated price quote for a specific selection, and (when ready) register interest with the founder so an engagement conversation begins.

The connector is the doorway. The analytical pipeline still runs on Webnet Media hardware in Florida and Romania. Anthropic and the MCP host never see customer documents.

Tools available through the connector

get_catalog — public

Returns the full 45-deliverable catalog: eleven categories, four tiers (Foundation, Strategic, Trial, Bespoke), three quality models (Standard, Pro, Premium), matter-size definitions, the Free First Matter terms, the volume discount bands, and the full pricing table. No authentication required.

get_quote — public

Compute an itemized, validated price for a deliverable selection at a chosen matter size and quality model. Catches invalid combinations automatically (e.g., a Premium-only deliverable requested at Pro quality). Applies the volume discount. Returns subscription items separately. No authentication required.

register_interest — public

Leave your name, firm, and email so the founder can follow up. The founder reviews each registered interest personally and responds within one business day. No authentication required. If you also pass a structured deliverable selection, the founder's notification includes the priced selection so the first reply can be substantive.

submit_matter — authenticated

Provision a matter workspace and trigger the engagement intake process. Requires an API key issued by Webnet Media after the engagement letter is signed. Issuing a key is a manual step during the founder-reviewed beta — not yet self-service.

get_status — authenticated

Check the processing status of a matter you have submitted. Status moves from awaiting documents through in processing to complete. Only the firm that submitted the matter can read its status.

get_deliverable / list_matters — authenticated

Retrieve a finished deliverable or list your firm's submitted matters. Strict per-firm isolation; one firm cannot read another firm's matters.

Typical workflow from inside Claude Cowork

  1. You ask Claude what FidesBeacon offers. Claude calls get_catalog and reads back the eleven categories, the deliverable list, and the pricing structure. You see specific deliverables (e.g., D7 Master Case Timeline, D8 Key Fact Matrix), what each does, and which tier and quality model is available.
  2. You tell Claude what you want and what size matter. Claude calls get_quote with your selection. You get back an itemized validated quote with the volume discount applied. If you picked something Premium-only at Pro quality, Claude tells you why that combination is not valid and what the minimum quality is.
  3. You tell Claude you want to engage. Claude calls register_interest with your name, firm, email, and (if you confirmed a price in the previous step) the priced selection. The founder gets an email alert with all of this in one message.
  4. The founder follows up within one business day. You receive an email confirming fit, the engagement letter (NDA + SOW), and a Box upload link for your source documents. Box is encrypted in transit and at rest; we deliver finished work product back to the same Box folder so the audit trail stays in one place.
  5. You upload documents. We process. You receive deliverables. Foundation-tier work returns in 24–72 hours. Strategic and Trial tiers take 3–10 business days depending on scope. Every deliverable arrives as a Microsoft Word document with an RFC 3161 cryptographically timestamped QC log.

How documents are handled

The MCP connector itself does not handle documents. Document upload happens outside the connector, via Box, which we provision specifically for your matter. We use Box because it is encrypted in transit and at rest, supports access controls and audit logging, and is widely accepted by law firms as compliant with their existing data-handling rules.

We do not accept document uploads through Anthropic, through Claude Cowork, or through the MCP transport itself. If anyone claiming to be FidesBeacon ever asks you to send confidential documents through Claude, that is not us. Document upload always uses a Box folder we provisioned and a link we sent you by email.

Our complete document-handling policy is on the Confidentiality & Compliance page. The privacy policy that governs information collected through the website and the MCP connector itself is on the Privacy page.

Connection instructions

During the founder-reviewed beta, connection setup is currently a guided process rather than a one-click install in a public directory. Two ways to connect:

  1. Through a public directory listing. FidesBeacon is in submission review for Anthropic's MCP Directory and the community mcp.so directory. Once the listing is live, you can install the connector in your Claude Cowork settings in a few clicks. We will update this page with the listing URL when it is published.
  2. Through direct setup. Email david@fidesbeacon.com mentioning that you would like to evaluate the MCP connector. We will reply with the public connection URL and walk you through adding it to Claude Cowork's MCP Servers configuration. This is the fastest path while the directory submissions are in review.

Try the connector against your matter.

If your firm has never used FidesBeacon before, the Free First Matter Program applies whether you connect through the MCP or through traditional email intake. One Foundation-tier matter in Category 2 (Documentary Evidence), 7 (Quick-Turn Triage), or 8 (AI Quality Control). Up to 300 documents. 72-hour turnaround. No obligation to continue.
